Good Morning Baltimore!

The first thing I did when we arrived in Baltimore was grab some lunch. We found a perfect spot close by the aquarium. It was a cold and rainy day and I was really hungry after browsing a few other restaurant’s menus we stumbled upon this joint. It was friendly and affordable, but most of all delicious.

I got the falafel entree and it was mouthwateringly good. The dish came with rice, humus, pita bread and a side of cucumber and tomato salad.

The easiest way to find this place would probably be to plug it into the GPS once you are in Baltimore. But once outside you are only a few blocks from the harbor, and it was a short walk to the National Aquarium.

Though we took our food to go and meet up with some other friends the Kabul has a bright an open environment that would make anyone feel welcome to dine.

The National Aquarium  had several exhibits that reminded me of my childhood visiting sea-world. The dolphin show pretty neat. It defiantly made me want a pet dolphin. The aquarium had a labels for each of the fish so I was basically playing an intense game of “I Spy”.

This orange monkey was not a happy fella. Don’t know what the little guy was upset about, but he was oh so adorable.

If you are a book lover like I am it could be easy to spend all day in this HUGE Barnes and Noble. It was the biggest one I had ever seen.

With only a few hours to spend in Baltimore I believe we spent them well.

Love,

Morgan
