The Leaning Tower of Pisa is one of the most photographed places all over Europe. Travelers venture to the city to see the tower that looks like it could fall over any second, and snagging a pictures beside it. When I first saw the Leaning Tower of Pisa, I remember thinking to myself “that building is going to fall”. After a few minutes at the tower I realized it will probably be another hundred years before it topples over. Imagine being the designer that crafted this architectural disaster that turned into a miracle against gravity. The tower in Pisa is certainly unlike anything you have ever seen, or will see.
Here are some creative ideas for your tacky tourist pictures.
At first glance, my stomach is in knots for fear the tower is going to fall. Yet, after a few minutes, I realize this tower isn’t budging.
Some say that Pisa is a tourist trap, however, I say the tradition of taking tacky pictures makes this town in Italy worth a visit.
With hundreds of tourist visiting each year, you may want some fresh ideas about how to pose in front of this leaning tower. Here are my suggestions.
1.) The Classic
If you aren’t sure if you can handle the goofy tourist photo try a classic pose.
2.) The Kick-BoxerÂ
Feeling feisty? Then the kick-boxer is perfect for practicing your moves.
3.) The Lean With It Rock With It
This happens to be my favorite pose. The pants I am wearing in this photo are not stretchy so I couldn’t get my leg up as high as I normally can. If you plan on doing this move be sure to wear comfy pants.
4.) Seated Kick Off
5.) Attempted Double Seated Kick Off
Use all of your leg strength to keep the tower from crashing to the ground.
6.) The PincherÂ
If you are by yourself, no problem. Take a quick snap of this photo.
7.) The Group EffortÂ
Gather everyone together for one final shot of everyone putting their strength together to keep this tower upright.
I had so much fun taking these very tourist pictures. Â Hope you do too!
