In LA, you have to live like the stars, and I wanted to live like one star in particular, Hailey Bieber. When my family asked me- what was one thing I wanted to do in LA. I bashfully said, “Try the $18 Hailey Bieber smoothie at a grocery store called Erewhon“. Expensive doesn’t always mean better, but I wanted to find out. For $18, this better be the best smoothie I have ever had.

Walking into Erewhon reminds me of Whole Foods or another health food store. Some things were costly; others were reasonably priced. I am a health food fanatic. You can catch me taking wheatgrass shots and trying the latest probiotic- I was in heaven.

Erewhon had some food I had never heard of- like sea moss, but after strolling around for a few minutes, we got it line for what I ultimately came for.

The smoothie I want to try is called the ‘skin smoothie’. I could have come up with a more appetizing name. Skin smoothie has me thinking of blended-up flesh. Gross. Not to mention- like a smoothie can be cream and pink colored- it looks too much like skin to me.

Regardless of the name, the smoothie’s flavor is strawberry glaze. It has fresh strawberries, vanilla sweeteners, hyaluronic acid, and collagen to promote skin health.

The line went by quickly, and after taking the first sip, I thought,

‘There is no way this smoothie is healthy.’

It tastes too good. It like strawberry cheesecake, and the thick and creamy glaze resembles light strawberry icing. Reminding me of when I got the most calorie-loaded and delicious milkshake and the Crazy Mason. Where to get the CRAZIEST Milkshakes in South Carolina.

On taste alone, Hailey Bieber’s smoothie tastes like other strawberry smoothies I have tried. It’s delicious, but once you look at the quality of ingredients you might it might be worth the $18.

If you aren’t in LA and don’t have $20 to spend on a smoothie, you could easily make a similar smoothie at home and enjoy it just as much.
